Our mission
HRT.med exists to deliver clear, evidence-informed content about hormone replacement therapy for menopause. We maintain independent comparisons of online HRT providers to help women evaluate their care options. We are an editorial team, not a healthcare provider, and we do not offer medical advice.
How we research and rank providers
We assess HRT providers based on publicly available, verifiable data. We do not evaluate clinical outcomes or the quality of care delivered.
- Starting price and plan terms
- What is included (lab work, consultations, medications, follow-ups)
- Intake type (online questionnaire, video visit, in-person)
- State availability
- Shipping and fulfillment
- Prescriber credentials and licensing
Affiliate independence
HRT.med may earn revenue through affiliate links and paid placements from menopause care providers. Some recommended providers pay referral commissions. These commercial arrangements have no influence on rankings, editorial content, or provider recommendations. Paid placements are always labeled. See /disclosures for full details.
Medical review process
Health content on HRT.med is produced by our editorial team and reviewed by a qualified medical professional with background in women’s health and hormone therapy. Reviewers check clinical accuracy, identify unsupported claims, and ensure that safety information about hormone use is clearly presented. Reviewer names and credentials appear on reviewed articles. Medical reviewers do not endorse the site’s editorial positions or commercial relationships.
Conflict of interest policy
Writers and editors are required to disclose any personal or financial connection to HRT providers featured on the site. Medical reviewers receive compensation for their review work but maintain no equity, affiliate, or employment relationship with the business. No menopause care provider can purchase a favorable review, improved ranking, or removal of negative information.
How content is updated
HRT provider listings and editorial content undergo regular review. The “Listing last checked” date on each provider page indicates when we last confirmed the information. Content pages carry a “Last updated” date. We target quarterly reviews of all active HRT listings. If a provider adjusts pricing or services between review cycles, the site may briefly display outdated information.
Errors and corrections
If you spot an error or outdated detail on HRT.med, please email hello@hrt.med with the page URL and a description of the problem. We review correction requests without delay and update content once the correction is verified. Significant changes are marked with an updated date on the affected page.
